Mangotsfield, looking to build on their 4-0 win over Barnstaple last weekend, created the first after one minute when James Bloom crossed for Jordan Williams to shoot wide. Fleet were able to soon force their first corner, played in tight the ball hit the post and the Mangos keeper Andrew Hannah found a way to get the ball away for another corner. The lads did very well against a physical direct side in Sholing and dominated for long periods of the first half without testing their keeper too much. Harrison in goal was back from injury and his kicking and distribution was giving Sholing lots of problems. The key message was to keep a clean sheet and the lads were working very hard to defend well and  ensure Harrison had very little to do! Yate Town continued their unbeaten start to the League programme, with this win which lifted them to the top of the table. Despite the difference in their league places, for the first twenty minutes of the game, it was Fleet Town that dominated possession and chances.
