A quick hello to Fleet Town Football Club, all the supporters players and staff and volunteers behind the scenes who keep this club ticking over myself, Sam and Mark have been working hard all through the summer putting things in place before the season starts whilst players have a break during the summer that rarely happens to the management team and coaches.
After a few weeks of preparing for pre-season we decided to invite Andy Hunt onto the management team, he will be joint manager with myself and Sam is head of coaching and Mark Whiteley will be working with the players on match days assisting with training and the knocks players receive from time to time, we may introduce someone else soon perhaps to assist on the coaching side of things and also someone to assist and be the kit man for the first team.

As you are probably all aware the majority of the 1st team squad has gone with the ex-manager to his new club only two players from last season have been retained.
Both Ben Toye and Danilo Cadete have put pen to paper both good lads with good attitudes, we have had a vast amount of interest on players wanting to be involved at Fleet Town FC so up until the 12th August we will be doing our best to put together the strongest squad available to compete and hopefully better what the team achieved last season under the previous management.
The foundations are currently being laid for us on what we see as a 3 year plan 1st year compete and try and continue what the club achieved last season, 2nd year finish in the top half of the table with a settled squad from year one and the third year maintaining a play-off position or promotion, so please bear with us the old cliché “Rome wasn’t built in a day” we are now planning this and working towards this.
