Fleet Town 0 Hanwell Town 2

In front of the largest crowd seen at Calthorpe Park since 2008 Fleet bowed out of the FA Cup at the 1st Qualifying Stage. Fleet had step 4 opposition in Hanwell Town but went into the game with a strong looking team themselves.

The game almost started in dream fashion for Fleet when Mal Thomas was played through but unfortunately he did not beat the Hanwell goal keeper and this was one of few chances for Fleet. The first half settled into a normal pattern of Hanwell controlling the ball put Fleet trying to repel their attacks and launch attacks of their own. Hanwell took the lead when they managed to head a cross beyond Lee Allen in the Fleet goal. Half-time 0-1

The second half started in a similar style to the first half with Fleet having a good chance. A free-kick from the left was played in beyond the Hanwell defence but Sam Williams stretching shot was straight at the Hanwell keeper who could tip it over. Hanwell made a number of chances before they scored their second, finishing a good passing move, with the shot going in off the far post. Fleet battled to the end but were unable to make any clear chances. Full-time 0-2
