Fleet Town 2 Raynes Park Vale 4

Unfortunately I was not at the game on Saturday but it seems clear that the defensive fragility that Fleet have displayed in the last few weeks has continued. The game apparently had everything that makes non league football great. Raynes Park Vale took an early three goal lead and looked set for a straightforward victory when they had their first player sent off giving Fleet a chance. The next thing to occur was that referee Derek Payne went down injured and had to stop refereeing the game. Assistant Referee Stephen Saunders took over in the middle and assistant was found in the crowd. Half-time 0-3

Raynes Park Vale extended their lead to 0-4 before Fleet sprung into life. Substitute Dan Bone pulled one goal back to make it 1-4. Raynes Park Vale then had a second player sent off before Dan Bone pulled a second goal back with a free-kick. Full-time 2-4
