Fleet Town 3 Baffins Milton Rovers 0

A lively FA Cup tie took place at Calthorpe Park, with both teams in the Wessex Premier League it was always going to be a close match. The teams started the first half well with the play flowing from one end to the other, both goalkeepers needing to be alert. Bradley Wilson and Aaron Redford had Fleet’s best chances and on another day could have been a couple of goals up. The first goal when it came was rather scrappy affair when a Fleet corner bounced across the six yard box only to be turned into his own net by Baffins captain George Way. The game changed in the last 5 minutes of the first half when Baffins had number 7 Tommy Tierney sent off for a head but.

The second half was all Fleet as they played to their full potential and scored two good goals. The first came on the break when Bradley Wilson was played down the wing and he cut in and placed the ball into the far corner. This goal came after a similar break where Bradley had rolled the ball across the six yard box to Enow Ojong who blazed over an open goal. Fleet continued to move the ball well and their third goal came when Enow spun the centre back and drove into the box, his powerful shot was saved by the Baffins goalkeeper but he only managed to slide it into the path of Taylor Watts who scored easily.
