Fleet Town 5 Shaftesbury 0

In the last game before lockdown Fleet played a team that on paper looked weaker than Saturday against Littlehampton. Bur with Stephane and Ralph were making their debuts they put in a great performance a great tonic for Fleet fans heading off to lockdown times.

Fleet started the game with pace and precision passing and put Shaftesbury on the backfoot straightaway. Fleet took the lead when the Shaftesbury goalkeeper spilled a long range shot at the feet of Mal Thomas who was able to finish. The lead was doubled quickly when a long range shot from Billy Oram flew into the bottom corner. Debutant Ralph Kazamazondo added a third when he was played in by Mal Thomas and finished calmly.
