Fleet Town Club Statement

At a special Committee meeting on Thursday 5th July, after weighing up the limited options left to the club following the decisions of the FA Leagues Committee and subsequent Appeal Board, Fleet Town can confirm they will take up their change of allocated position in the renamed Evo-stik Southern League Division One South.

The committee then went on to start the interview process of potential new Managers who had contacted the club earlier this week, when news of the vaccancy broke.

With no players avaialable this Saturday’s friendly at Farnham Town was regretably been cancelled. The club are keen to confirm an appontment as soon as possible, so that the new manager/management team can recruit enough players to fulfil the friendly against our local rivals Hartley Wintney on Saturday 14th July at Calthorpe Park and build a squad before the start of the season.

The club would like to thank everybody that has shown us love and support on social media this week and will contact those that have offered support, sponsorship, donations as well as clubs interested in loaning or dual registration of players in our immediate rebuilding programme, in the very near future. More offers are welcome and needed, please contact chairman@fleettownfc.co.uk
