Guildford City 2 Fleet Town 1

Guildford took the lead within the opening two minutes of this cup tie, through Nathanial Mensah, before Fleet equalised through Mack Vary on 7 minutes. With Fleet controlling passages of play, Guildford were finding it difficult to get close in behind Fleet and resorting to shooting from distance Mikey Coppinger fired through from outside of the box to put Guildford back in front just before half time.

The best chances of the second half again were falling to Fleet and frustratingly the Guildford woodwork proved to be the home sides best defense, with the Bar denying Dan Bone and the post stopping Billy Oram from getting the equaliser.

Guildford progress to play away to Colliers Wood United in the next round of the Combined Counties League Cup.
