Jersey Bulls 3 Fleet Town 0

Jersey Bulls went into this last game of the league season looking for a win to complete their first season at step5 with a target of scoring 5 to reach the magic 100 goals mark.

Early pressure from Jersey set up chances for Jake Prince and Lorne Bickley, which were kept out by Fleet, after half an hour a quick counter attack by Jersey saw Jack Cannon clear the ball out to the right wing to Jake Prince, he played the ball inside for Calvin Weir to run onto and open the scoring. Almost immediately Prince and Bickley combined but found Hardcastle in the way. Bickley had another chance before half-time and brought out another fine save from Hardcastle.

The second half started badly for Fleet with Jonny Le Quesne scoring inside the first minute and Jake Prince netting number three only five minutes later. Fleet had no luck in front of goal and even when they got the ball in the net late on it was flagged for offside.
