Marlow 1 Fleet Town 2

Approaching Mid-April, as thoughts start to turn to the end of the season and Fleet Town celebrate their first league away win of the season, against mid table Marlow.

After a goalless first half, the game swung Fleet’s way when they got a Penalty ten minutes into the second half, Graeme Purdy made no mistake and despatched the Penalty to get Fleet in front. Twenty minutes later Bradley Wilson doubled the lead. Despite Marlow pulling a goal back through Chapple five minutes from the end it was a small consolation for the home side as Fleet saw the game out and take home the three points, which lift them up a couple of places in the table as several other games were postponed again.
